I’m Adam, the founder and designer at Tartan Studio. I grew up in Aberdeen, known for its unrelenting grey architecture. This is why I launched Tartan Studio; to bring colour into to people's lives, via their feet.
I'm on a mission to bring vibrant and distinctive socks to the world, which are inspired by Scotland.
Only the softest Combed Cotton
The cotton used to make our socks is passed through fine-toothed combs to remove shorter fibres and impurities, resulting in softer, stronger and more breathable yarn.
Knitted with 200 Needles
Our manufacturer uses 200-needle knitting machines, allowing for intricate designs and superior quality.
In fact, to apply the twill weave of our tartan socks, we couldn't use anything less than 200 needles.
